The short answer is yes.
The longer answer is yes—but it probably won’t happen the way most people expect.
One thing I’ve noticed is that people often think making money online is completely different from making money in the “real world.” Somehow, we’ve convinced ourselves that an online business should be instant, easy, and almost effortless.
In reality, it’s still a business.
Whether you’re selling products, promoting affiliate offers, writing a blog, freelancing, or building an audience on YouTube, the same principles apply: you need to provide value, show up consistently, and give it time.
That’s the part most people don’t want to hear.
The truth is, the people who are succeeding online in 2026 aren’t necessarily the most talented or the most technical. They’re usually the ones who kept going after everyone else gave up.
And yes, there are still plenty of opportunities.
Affiliate marketing continues to be a great option for beginners because you don’t need to create your own products. Blogging is still bringing in traffic despite being declared “dead” for over a decade. Email marketing remains one of the most effective ways to build relationships and generate sales. And AI tools have opened up entirely new possibilities for people who want to create content or start a business with limited resources.
But AI hasn’t replaced hard work.
If anything, it has made competition tougher. Anyone can generate content in seconds now, which means the people who stand out are the ones who add personality, experience, and genuine insight.
People are becoming much better at spotting hype.
They’re looking for honesty.
They’re looking for someone who says, “This works, but it takes time.”
And that’s exactly what I’ve found.
The biggest mistake I see people making isn’t choosing the wrong opportunity. It’s never sticking with one long enough to know whether it works.

Absolutely.
In fact, I’d argue there has never been a better time to start. We have more tools, more opportunities, and more ways to connect with people than ever before.
The challenge isn’t finding an opportunity.
It’s choosing one, staying with it, and giving yourself enough time to succeed.
If you’re willing to do that, earning money online isn’t just possible—it’s achievable.
And who knows?
A year from now, you may look back and realize that the hardest part wasn’t learning how to make money online.
It was simply believing that you could.
